Viajou durante horas? Veja dez maneiras simples para driblar o jet lag.

Quem já viajou de avião por períodos longos conhece a sensação: sono incontrolável durante o dia, cansaço, náusea, mau humor, dificuldade para dormir e aquela impressão de que algo está muito errado. Trata-se do jet lag, uma desorientação que surge ao atravessarmos vários fusos horários – o mundo é dividido em 24 deles –  que bagunçam o relógio biológico.
"Quem vai do leste para o oeste – de São Paulo para Paris, por exemplo – sente menos do que quem viaja no sentido inverso. Isso porque é mais fácil se adaptar a caminho de algum lugar cujo horário é mais cedo do que o de origem", diz o neurologista André Felício, do Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. Os sintomas desagradáveis podem perdurar até quatro dias, mas há dicas para colocar em prática antes, durante e depois da viagem e que prometem amenizar o mal-estar.

Anyone who has traveled by air for long periods know the feeling: uncontrollable daytime sleepiness, fatigue, nausea, moodiness, difficulty sleeping and that feeling that something is very wrong. This is the jet lag, disorientation that comes when we go through several time zones - the world is divided into 24 of them - who crash the biological clock.

"Who is going from east to west - from Sao Paulo to Paris, for example - Feels less than anyone traveling in the opposite direction. That's because it is easier to adapt the way to somewhere whose time is earlier than the source.", says neurologist Andrew Felicio, Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. The unpleasant symptoms can last up to four days, but there are tips to put in place before, during and after the trip that promise to ease the discomfort.
